Windows 10 Private Privacy Pirates

Okay... Microsoft doesn't have a bunch of eye patch folks running around... BUT they must get their booty somewhere... now, it might be your data.

Source: Microsoft's official Privacy Statment

Personal Data We Collect

Recording how we interacat with...

  • Bing
  • Cortona
  • OneDrive
  • any service possible....

We Use Personal Data

Basically target ads to you... surprise!

Cookies!?!?

Microsoft uses...

  • Cookies... not chocolate ones
  • Personal Preferences
  • Web beacons (invisible embeded web object)
  • advertising Ids
  • Your cloud information

MS stores your personal info in the cloud... ya know... for better accessibility... It's "private"... *cough, don't count on it*

Yes, it's from Halo

No it doesn't talk

It listens very well and records all personal information about you to "help" you be more productive

    Examples
  • Reading e-mail, schedule calandar date
  • Find you traffic reports of your drive to work
  • Recommend your favorite restaurants
  • Stalk the crap out of you

Microsoft: "We also obtain data from third parties (including other companies)."

If you didn't give info to MS, they'll probably buy your info from someone else.

Microsoft: "However, we do not use what you say in email, chat, video calls or voice mail, or your documents, photos or other personal files to target ads to you."

Won't exactly know if the ad is based off of what you do on your pc or if MS really did get your info from some Third Party.
